MüGa-Park

Am Schloß Broich, 45479 Mülheim an der Ruhr
Park/Gartenanlage

When scrap yards turn into rose gardens and desolate industrial wastelands develop into local recreational oases, then you have arrived in Mülheim an der Ruhr.

The MüGa Park, originally created for the 1992 State Garden Show, stretches over an impressive seven kilometres and is an unmissable highlight in the middle of the vibrant Ruhr region. This park is transformed into a stage for adventurers and explorers - no two days will be the same here.

The combination of historic water towers and modern sculptures transforms the park into a living museum that stimulates the imagination and invites visitors to discover. Spacious playgrounds and sound objects offer interactive experiences for children of all ages and invite them to let off steam. Ponds and fountains offer places of peace and relaxation, ideal for a well-earned break on the extensive walking and cycling paths.

Experimental spirits will not be disappointed here: whether in the lively alternation of sound art or in the quiet show and educational gardens, MüGa Park is open to those who want to discover the familiar in a new way.
