With an area of 100 hectares, the Zollverein UNESCO World Heritage Site offers a diverse experience. The site is accessible by car, coach and public transport. There may be restrictions during major events. The following information will help you find your way around the extensive site.

CAR
To visit the Zollverein Coal Mine Industrial Complex, enter "Fritz-Schupp-Allee" in your navigation device. If you want to visit the Zollverein coking plant, please enter "Arendahls Wiese" in your navigation system. Free parking spaces for cars are signposted and can be found both at the colliery (A1, A2 and B) and at the coking plant (C).

The Zollverein parking deck on the coking plant, Im Welterbe 11, is subject to a charge. Cost: €1.80/hour, day ticket €7.50. Please note: it is not possible to pay in cash, currently only EC cards can be used. There are four charging points (22 kW fast charger) for e-cars here.

Coaches
Bus stops are available for coaches on Fritz-Schupp-Allee. Free parking is available in car park C at the coking plant.

Motorhomes
The nearest parking spaces for motorhomes are at Revierpark Nienhausen, Gelsenkirchen. The Zollverein World Heritage Site can be reached from there by tram line 107 (approx. 10 minutes), by bicycle (approx. 15 minutes) or on foot (approx. 30 minutes).

Charging park for electric vehicles
In car park A1, the Zollverein Foundation and the charging infrastructure operator Allego offer a fast-charging park with HPC technology and 100 percent green electricity. Ten charging points are available, seven of which can be charged with up to 300 kW. Payment is possible via all common charging cards and apps, as well as ad-hoc charging by credit card.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT
You can reach the site by public transport via the stops "Zollverein" (tram 107, also "Kulturlinie") and "Zollverein-Nord" (tram 107, also "Kulturlinie", bus 170, bus 183 or regional train RB32) as well as the stops "Kokerei Zollverein" and "Kohlenwäsche" (bus 183).
