BY CAR
If you are arriving by car, follow the signs to "Essen-Zentrum" and then the signs to "Philharmonie".

Parking spaces Philharmonie
You will find parking spaces directly in front of the Philharmonie in the underground car parks Saalbau and Philharmonie on Huyssenallee. You can park there at the concert rate of € 3,50. To save time, we recommend paying in advance at the ticket machines. The concert tariff starts two hours before the respective concert and usually ends five hours after the concert has started (the concert tariff does not apply to congresses, conferences and non-public concert events).

PARKING SPACES FOR THE DISABLED
Follow the signs to the underground car park Saalbau or to the "Hotel Sheraton". However, do not drive into the underground car park, but turn left immediately after the entrance ramp to the level parking area for the disabled. The parking spaces are approx. 100 m from the Huyssenallee entrance. At the Stadtgarten entrance, we grant elderly and disabled guests the right of way to exit/enter. The car can then be parked by the accompanying person in the adjacent underground car park Philharmonie.
BY BUS AND TRAIN
The Philharmonie is just a few minutes' walk from Essen Central Station. You can also take the bus or train to the "Philharmonie" or "Aalto-Theater" stations. On the day of the event, your subscription card or admission ticket is valid as a ticket on all buses and trains of the Rhine-Ruhr transport system for a return journey to and from the venue. Tickets are only valid as travel tickets if they were purchased at the TUP ticket agencies. Visitors who use external ticket agencies unfortunately have to do without the advantage of the combined ticket.
